How We Collect, Use and Disclose Your Information
When you sell or buy real estate through Sutton West Realty Inc., Brokerage, you share personal information with us so that we may provide services that best meet your needs. Our Buyer and Seller Agreements contain privacy disclosures and we assume your consent for our company to use this information in an appropriate manner. We may use and disclose this information to all parties involved in the entire process of the Sale/Lease/Purchase of the real property. For example, in a Multiple Listing Service (MLS) listing, the Listing Broker may disclose and retain all information and images provided for all purposes relating to the Listing, Marketing and Sale or Lease of the Property. This includes, advertising the property in any medium, including electronic media,
disclosing property information to prospective buyers, home inspectors, appraisers, insurance companies and other sales people, all who may be involved, as is consistent with the listing, marketing and sale or lease of the property. It is further understood that the MLS database is the property of the Real Estate Board(s) and can be licensed, resold, or otherwise dealt with by the Board(s). You further acknowledge that the Board(s) may: distribute the information and images to any persons authorized to use such service, which may include, other brokers, salespeople, government departments, appraisers, municipal organizations, and others. Further, be able to compile, retain and publish any statistics including historical MLS data and make such other use of the information and images, as the Board(s) may deem appropriate in connection with the Listing,
Marketing and Selling/Lease of real estate.
What We Will Not Do With Your Information
We do not sell client/customer information to anyone. Nor do we share that information with companies or organizations outside of our membership that would use it to contact you about their own products or services.
We Strive To Protect Your Personal Information
All employees and salespeople who are granted access to customer records understand the need to keep this information protected and confidential. They know they are to use the information only for the purposes intended. This expectation is clearly communicated. We’ve established physical systems and safeguards, along with processes, to protect this information from unauthorized use or access to ensure that it is not lost, stolen, copied or modified without permission.
